Shopping malls, hotels and restaurants play Christmas songs and decorate large and brightly lit Christmas trees. All these Christmas decorations in Thailand take momentum by the end of November. You will mainly see them at the large shopping malls. Christians and even other Thai people buy their own plastic tree and Christmas decorations at the markets like Tesco Lotus, Big C  and Careefour.  In fact, Thais love to keep this decoration for much longer periods- upto New Year and even upto Chinese new year celebrated in the end of January or early February. Most of the big restaurants and hotels in Thailand offer special Christmas food including the very traditional Turkey, mashed potatoes and even Christmas puddings.
