White House Christmas Decorations 2011!
White House Christmas decorations for this year were unveiled on November 30 in Washington, DC. The Christmas decoration theme for White House this year is - “Shine, Give, Share” There are 37 Christmas trees all over the White House which also includes the official 18-foot 6-inch balsam fir tree in the Blue Room that honors Blue Star military families. This year, President Barak's dog – popularly called the first family's dog- Bo has all attentions. There are Christmas ornaments representing Bo and also a topiary of Bo which is made with plastic and is placed in front of the fire place in the Library.
2011 White House Christmas Ornament!
The 2011 White House Christmas ornament commemorates the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th president of the United States. This unique Christmas ornament represents the excitement brought by the President Roosevelt, his wife Edith, and their lively children at the White House. The Christmas ornament contains a color illustration derived from a political cartoon drawn by William A. Rogers in 1901 which also reads, “I hear there are some kids in the White House this year.” This 2011 White House Christmas ornament is being sold for $17.95 and can be ordered from the White House Historical Association, P.O. Royal Christmas Ornament for Prince William & Kate!
Everything for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has to be royal- even the Christmas ornament they would use for their first holidays as husband and wife! Royal Crown Derby has made a custom-designed Christmas ornament for the newly wed couple , Prince William and Kate Middleton. This is a unique Christmas ornament in blue, gold, and white colors with embossed initials “W” and “C.” The words, “Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, 29th April 2011” have also been inscribed to commemorate the royal couple's wedding date. The ornament manufacturer- Royal Crown Derby – is also selling the 22-carat gold-embossed special Christmas ornament for $130 each to enable common men outside Buckingham Palace to commemorate the royal couple's first holiday.
